Rock Art in Echo Canyon
The indigenous Indians were the first to see the wonders of Echo Canyon.
Judging from their art works they were more interested in the hunt than the scenic beauty.
There were formation in the canyon that did have religious significance. Even during the twentieth century local Indian tribes were getting permission from the land owner of the Sentinel of the West to hold religious ceremonies.
